PF-773® is a fluidifier product, which means that when added to crude oil, it is able to modify the fluidization characteristics of the mass by improving viscosity and increasing drag speed. It also modifies the API grades of crude oil, increasing the saturated and aromatic components, while decreasing the amount of asphaltenes. This means that the SARA fraction improves. It acts as an enhancer in the transport of crude oil in pipelines and maintains the fluidification even when the temperature in the mass of cured oil decreases.

Geominas: Evaluation of the effectiveness of biosurfactant Brosplus in the biodegradation of a heavy crude in a sandy soil in southern Anzoategui
"In Anzoategui state it is developing the largest oil activity in the country, so this state becomes a vulnerable place as the exploration, production, refining and transportation of oil and oil products, occasionally brings technical and operational accidents that cause severe deterioration to the environment. The prevention of pollution of the environment (soil, water and air) and recovery is a priority. There are organic products that can biotransform or biodegrade hydrocarbons that can be used as a strategy in the bioremediation of soils impacted by the oil industry, so the aim of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of biosurfactant Brosplus content in degradation of oils and fats (retort method) in a sandy soil impacted by a spill of heavy crude from well MFB-214 Ayacucho division, Anzoategui state. Results indicate that percentage efficiencies were obtained in the degradation of oil and fat content between 87.2 and 39.1% respectively over a period of 61 days, being the most effective dose of 15 ml. Although the degradation of oil and grease content was not fully Bros Plus the product can be considered as an alternative to remedy sandy soils contaminated with heavy oil."
