Biodeclean Heavy® and Brosplus®.
Bioremediation was done: In-situ
1 Lts x m3
Sixty (60) days
After initial laboratory evaluation of the affected area and the study of the terrain. The procedure was to use Biodeclean Heavy® due to the affected area characteristics. The terrain was impregnated with a crude oil spill of 14 grade API due to this fact the recommended product was to use BIODECLEAN HEAVY® initially to be applied due to its feature characteristics of braking down the hydrocarbon chain at faster rate, followed after a week with the application of BROSPLUS®. This last one product use, will allow the completion of both; bioremediation and restoration of the contaminated area.
After 60 days of treatment the bioremediation was completed under parameters according or established by the department of environmental guidelines.
Biodeclean PF-773® and Biodeclean 1040®.
In the Refining Complex (CRP), there are arranged crude oil storage tanks in which waste is generated. The waste is of difficult removal due to the residue consistency, composition, separation of faces and the solids present of different granulometry compounds, high molecular weight (asphalt fractions), residence times, and temperature changes, etc These wastes must be periodically removed from the tanks to keep the correct maintenance and optimization of the cleaning processes, where the principal purpose is to extract the waste and to safely transport he residue to its final disposition centers already approved by the MPPPA, and thus must comply with the provisions Decree 2.635 for the final handling and disposal of the hazardous solid waste.
On May 27, 2017, residue sample was received from the bottom of the E1-24 tank located in the CRP for the purpose of testing fluidization, removal, cleaning and degradation of the material with the purpose to determine the efficiency of the Biodeclean® product line. The products used, are biodegradable, water soluble, non-toxic, non-reactive and non-corrosive.
Brosplus® in the creek and on the borders of the creek Biodeclean® was used.
BIODECLEAN 1040®.
By direct aspersion, with an action time of 20 minutes. It was necessary to aid the cleaning operation using a hydro-washing equipment, with a fine nozzle.
Product BIODECLEAN 1040® accomplished the removal of the adhering crude oil residues in pipes, trenches and operating areas, to totally not only remove the dried crude oil from the pipes and operation areas but to also eliminate traces of hydrocarbon, through bioremediation and degradation processes in situ.
Fluidification and removal of adhering and solidified Fuel Oil residues fo long intervals of time in containment trenches, pipes and operating areas of the industrial plant.
PF773® (Fluidizing Product)
By direct aspersion, with an action time of 15 minutes and subsequent removal with pressurized water, using hydro-washing equipment.
Product PF773® fluidized and removed adhering and solidified fuel oil residues in pipes, trenches and operating areas; allowing the separation of phases (aqueous and organic) to later recover the fuel oil and reuse in internal processes. In the final stage of the cleaning process, the Biodeclean 1040® product was used to totally eliminate traces of hydrocarbon, through bioremediation and degradation processes in situ.

We collected water, soil and vegetation samples from the Grand Isle area in Louisiana and were sent to a certified laboratory to conduct a series of test obtaining the results depicted below. Tests were conducted by placing the collected samples in test containers and spraying Bros-Plus™ to the crude oil contaminated media. Water test samples had crude oil thickness of 1/16” and 1/8” over sea water. Soil and vegetation samples were samples collected from the shores of Gran Isle, Louisiana.
It is relevant to point out that samples were analyzed under laboratory conditions without the presence of sun light, the mixing effect of waves and at a lower temperature. It is expected that field application should yield better results due to the mixing action of the waves, the higher temperature and the presence of sun light.
As shown in the graphs, Total Petroleum Hydrocarbon (TPH) concentrations were tracked from initial treatment of Bros-Plus™ at intervals of 6 and 12 days. TPH concentrations 12 days after the application of Bros-Plus™ were “undetected” for soil and water samples as shown in the analytical results in Addendum B. Vegetation sample results also showed TPH “undetected” as shown in the following photos. Additional photographs and laboratory data is shown in Addendum B.
G&C AMBIENTPETROL V, INC. Participation was possible thru the use of our technology Biodeclean 5000® for the cleaning process in cooperation with Biotekpetrol and client awarded contract for the cleaning in Argentina.
The Autonomous City of Buenos Aires (CABA) was selected as the venue for the 2018 Youth Olympic Games. During this event, world-class athletes competed in all sports disciplines.
Those of greater participation and attractiveness are disputed in open air areas, where the athletes maintain direct contact with the environment and its natural elements, among the most popular, the marathon, triathlon, pentathlon, canoeing and cycling stand out.
The Regatas Lake in the Palermo park, was selected by the International Olympic Committee to develop sports competitions in the Triathlon discipline.
This lake had high levels in bacteriological, physical and chemical parameters due to external contributions, that prevented the realization of this type of events, without a previous adaptation work and/or environmental remediation in coexistence with the animal and plant species present in the body of water.
By applying Biodeclean 5000® by spray and injection methods, the body of water was adapted to optimal levels well below the maximum limits accepted for human contact. In addition to contributing to the clarification of dissolved solids, algae control and improvement of parameters by environmentally friendly biological restoration processes.

The Autonomous City of Buenos Aires (CABA) was selected as the venue for the 2018 Youth Olympic Games. During this event, world-class athletes competed in all sports disciplines.
Dykes presented high levels of physical and bacteriological parameters, possibly due to the influence of fluids from port areas and city discharges. During application, climatic events such as heavy storms and aggressive temperature changes, caused Rio de la Plata to increase its levels and flood the dykes, making it difficult to work and caused the proliferation of algae.
Through continuous monitoring by the awarded company and under our technical advice and product G&C AMBIENTPETROL V, INC & BIOTEKPETROL, recommended specific dosages of Biodeclean 5000® were applied, to control algal blooms, eliminate odors, adapt bacteriological parameters and clarify water, without affecting the existing fauna.
The wastewater treatment plant in the town of Zipaquirá is made up of receiving channels for the effluent discharged into the sewage networks with filters to reduce particle sizes, sand traps, grease traps and lagoons or aeration pools in aerobic and anaerobic processes. They have high loads of organic matter where the incorporation of oxygen and the activation of the sludge is difficult, producing unpleasant odors and supernatant solids in the maturing lagoons, having their maximum load levels in the early morning and late afternoon.
On September 24, 2014, a field visit and tests were conducted to determine the efficiency of the Biodeclean® product line in Bioremediation, odor and sediment control of the primary aeration and tertiary lagoons of the anaerobic process (optional lagoon) of the mentioned plant in different dosages and action times. The products used are pH neutral, biodegradable, non-toxic, non-reactive and non-corrosive.

The application of Biodeclean® on the area, seeks to allow the outcrop of residual crude oil in the subsoil, in order to degrade the hydrocarbon chain and prepare the supernatant for the second application of Brosplus®, which will regenerate the area, eliminating what is extracted by the Biodeclean®.
More than 5% of oil content is presumed. Samples are taken (with and without Biodeclean®) to demonstrate the total value of percolated crude oil in depth to corroborate the data. Initially, there had been talk of a bioremediation track 40 cm deep, but at this point the surface is about 7 x 10 meters and the depth reaches 2m and 1/2, which was considered in the field and was reported at the time
A excavation was chosen to mix the soil with Biodeclean® to Direct Jet, in order to impregnate the area and allow the outcrop of crude oil to the surface. Procedure that was executed twice during the first and second days of implementation.
After plowing, we proceed to moisturize through irrigation taken from stacking water from the area underlying the area to be treated, where a lack of permeability of the soil to be covered is observed, and a low possibility of penetration of the water layer into the subsoil. However, irrigation is carried out throughout the area, with greater influence in areas detected with crude oil.
To perform the penetration thoroughly, to the affected are ,a low to medium capacity excavation equipment, was used to removed the top of the substrate areait (approx. 2 m), and then was stacked to be rose by the use of the Biodeclean® product. The biodeclean® was applied to the pile and then, was brought back to the extraction site, with positive results, as Biodeclean® saturation was reflected in the crude outcrop, the decreased hydrocarbon odor, and soil compaction was achieved.
After the ground was saturated with the product, and the pit where the detonation occurred, they began to see inruns that were saturated with crude that surfaced. The conditions of this crude are conditions that demonstrate to the touch, that the product has managed to break, it and describe a little viscous crude, with minimal unctuousness, an minimal smell and easy to wash with common water. All of this after hours of treatment.
It was observes in the above pictures, how the product is breaking the hydrocarbon chain, and generates a separation of the emulsion, which does not agglomerate again. The surface layer of crude oil, evidences the bacterial activity of the product, opening in small halos, the interface surface.
A radical change in soil condition is observed when applying Biodeclean® in the area with high water proofness. The product manages to break the surface tension of the crude on the surface, and allows the area to be moistened to receive the product. It was possible to carry out a stacking and conformation of the pit where the impact is evident, with a good amount of product applied on it, managing to penetrate the layer to the top of the equipment used for the excavation.
An oil content is observed to be confirmed, which may be more than 5%, in the detonation area.
